Project goal

This 84-acre dairy farm that was preserved with the Lancaster Farmland Trust in 2020 was building a new heifer barn.

The farmer worked with Lancaster Farmland Trust and TeamAg to include strategic Best Management Practices (BMPs) such as under-barn manure storage, concrete curbing in the barnyard, grassed waterway repairs and more.
